EVANSTON FIRE STATION #3
Installed on June 20, 2005, here is the first snapshot of the mural for Fire Station #3 in Evanston, Illinois. The eight images were selected by a group of firefighters working at this station. After considering hundreds of images and discussions about what they wished to both see and show to the public, selections were made from historical images and from photographs firefighters had taken on the job. The images were then rasterized and transferred to metal plates.
